Following the curricular unit 'Thesis Plan', the objective of this course is to produce an original thesis that contributes to the existing scientific knowledge by addressing a set of relevant research questions with rigorous and appropriate research methods. Writing the thesis will enable students to develop the skills intended by the course.
In particular, it is expected that doctoral students will acquire:
. Specialised knowledge on topics related to their research agenda
. Critical thinking and the ability to formulate new research questions
. The ability to apply their technical and analytical skills to answer these questions
. Communication skills to write, publish, and present their research in high-level research journals and academic conferences
. The ability to conduct collaborative research
. The ability to solve real business problems through scientific and rigorous methods.
