Program Description

Within the scope of Católica Porto Business School emerges a new block of executive training courses, with the name "Sustainable and Regenerative Business", focused on circular, sustainable and regenerative business solutions, powered by disruptive innovation and technologies. The Postgraduate Programme in Sustainability and Regeneration and the Executive Course of Chief Sustainability Officer focus on circulare business solutions, while not violating the social and environmental boundaries.

At a time of indisputable societal and environmental change, it is essential to gain a broad understanding of how embedding sustainability and regeneration into core business strategy benefits financial performance and management practices. Being at the forefront of this emerging field is fundamental to the future of business. At the same time, the industry demands employees who understand how to account for sustainability and regeneration and more generally understand these topics from the business perspective. ‘Innovation for Sustainable and Regenerative Business’ illustrates how businesses can thrive and grow while simultaneously solving some of the world’s biggest challenges, and how we, as individuals, can make the difference.

This proposal also aims to foster the thematic diversification of the training catalogue of Católica Porto Business School and Faculty of Biotechnology. Finally, it is launched under the INSURE.hub, an initiative nurtured by Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in Porto, through its Schools - Católica Porto Business School and Faculty of Biotechnology – with Planetiers New Generation.
