The Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative (GRLI), a global platform dedicated to promoting responsible leadership and sustainability in business and management education, has appointed Paulo Alves, the Vice-Dean of Católica Porto Business School, to the Guardians of the GRLI Council.
The Guardians of the GRLI Council represent the Council of Partners and collaborate with the Board to uphold the vision, mission, and operating ethos of the GRLI. Their role is to ensure that these three elements are actively supported, implemented, and visible within the GRLI and all related activities.
John North, Executive Director of GRLI, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are delighted to welcome Paulo Alves to the Guardians of the GRLI Council during this critical period of renewal and evolution. The Guardians play an essential role in ensuring that GRLI’s ethos and principles are actively upheld and embedded in the broader ecosystem of education, business, and society. Paulo’s experience in fostering collaboration across institutions and his deep commitment to responsible leadership education will bring a unique perspective to the group. His contributions come at a time when we are focused on reimagining and amplifying the role of Guardianship in catalysing global responsibility.”
