Cristina Trocin

Assistant Professor

Bio

Cristina Trocin is an Assistant Professor in Information Systems at Católica Porto Business School. Cristina developed valuable international and inter-disciplinary collaborations during her post-doc at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Norway and her visiting semester at American University - Kogod Business School in the USA. She completed her PhD in Management with a focus on Information Systems in healthcare from Ca' Foscari University of Venice. MSc in International Management from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy.

Cristina is conducting research at the intersection of technology, organisations, and digital innovation. Currently, her research projects include the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in healthcare organisations, Human Resource Management (HRM) and how it generates disruptions.  

Her work was presented in the leading conferences such as International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), Academy of Management (AoM), the European Group for Organizational Studies (EGOS). She published in journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Information Systems Frontiers, and books such as Digital Transformation in Norwegian Enterprises.
