This attraction is often instrumentalised, for their own benefit, by narcissistic leaders – audacious and hyper-confident individuals whose grandiose self-obsession can undermine an organisation’s culture and sustainability. This article helps to understand the dynamics of the relationships between narcissistic leaders and their followers. It highlights the dangers posed by narcissistic leaders and also discusses preventive and protective mechanisms, both for organisations and for those they lead.”
