"Cryptocurrencies have been a recurring theme in financial markets. In January of this year, the regulator authorised BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, to launch a Bitcoin ETF, which in two months became the fastest fund ever, reaching 10 billion dollars under management. Thus, what began to be considered an exotic asset is today a strong investment option, which could increasingly cannibalise capital invested in conventional instruments or assets."
