Católica Porto Business School is once again among the nominees for the Human Resources Awards, organised by Human Resources Portugal magazine, in the Higher Education Establishments category. The 2025 edition marks the 14th realisation of the "Empresas Mais" initiative, which aims to distinguish companies and professionals with excellent people management practices.

Voting is public and available on the magazine's website until 20 May. The winners will be announced at the official ceremony on 3 June at O Clube - Monsanto Secret Spot in Lisbon.

This year, the initiative includes 30 categories, 26 dedicated to companies and organisations and four to professionals, including the awards for Best CEO, Best CEO - SME, Best Human Resources Director and Best Human Resources Director - SME.

For the dean of Católica Porto Business School, João Pinto, "what sets our school apart is our ongoing commitment to training leaders capable of transforming the culture of organisations. We do this through programmes that combine academic rigour, strategic vision and a deeply human approach to management. It's not just about training professionals - it's about training people who are aware of the impact they have on others and on the world of work".

The Human Resources Awards are voted for by readers and aim to highlight good practices and leadership with a positive impact on organisations and society.
