On May 4th, Católica Porto Business School's Master in Marketing and Master in Management students, through the International Marketing discipline taught by Susana Costa e Silva, had the opportunity to understand, hands-on, how some of the equipment that measures facial expressions and the brain's electrical activity work.
The whole experience and the equipment were monitored by Prof. Alexandre Lobo, responsible for the Laboratory of Applied Neurosciences of the University of Saint Joseph (Macau), with whom the CPBS has recently established a protocol (learn more here).
The students, aware of the importance of neuromarketing, were thrilled about this experience, which allowed them to understand consumers' behaviour and how technology can address marketing challenges.
