Between 1 and 3 July, Católica Porto Business School attended the QSP Summit 2025, one of the largest marketing and management events in Portugal, which this year discussed the theme "The New Strategic Drivers".
Over the three days, the School was represented by a team dedicated to promoting its training offer and promoting the "CEO Self as a Future Leader" challenge. The aim was to invite participants to reflect on what it means to be a leader of the future through a creative phrase.
The winner of the competition was Gisela Ferreira, Communication & BI Manager at Capwatt, who was awarded a voucher worth €3,000 to attend an executive education programme of her choice. The prize was presented on the second day of the event by the School's Head of Marketing and Communication, Sofia Graça, for the most creative phrase:
"Leaders of the future don't follow trends - they create them. They challenge the status quo, anticipate what's next and are architects of the unpredictable, while inspiring and transforming with empathy".
For Gisela, this distinction represents an opportunity to renew and deepen the knowledge she had already acquired. Her phrase highlighted the ability of leaders to create trends, anticipate change and inspire teams with empathy.
The School was also represented in the event's official programme: the dean, João Pinto, participated in the "Trends Forum" worklab, where the new strategic drivers for leadership, innovation, technology and culture in times of uncertainty were discussed. The panel also included Jordi Díaz (dean, EADA Business School), Josep Franch (dean, Esade Executive Education) and Nilza Rodrigues (editor-in-chief, Forbes Portugal & Forbes Africa Lusófona).
