The Consulting Unit in Management and Applied Economics (CEGEA) at Católica Porto Business School has established a new partnership with Florestas.pt, a reference platform for forestry information managed by RAIZ (Forest and Paper Research Institute), Navigator's research centre. This agreement aims to strengthen the mutual sharing of knowledge about the forestry sector and promote access to reliable, up-to-date content with a direct impact on environmental sustainability in Portugal.

This collaboration represents a significant milestone for CEGEA and Católica Porto Business School, expanding their presence in sustainability projects and reinforcing their contribution to the forestry sector. The protocol establishes the sharing of studies, projects and publications developed by CEGEA, which will be made available on Florestas.pt in a simplified and accessible way, allowing the public to better understand issues related to the forest and the environment. CEGEA will put its know-how at the service of Florestas.pt, supporting the technical-scientific revision of the platform's content. With this partnership, Católica Porto Business School reaffirms its commitment to social and environmental responsibility, leveraging its academic expertise in favour of sustainable development.

Vasco Rodrigues, director of CEGEA, emphasised the importance of this protocol: "This partnership with Florestas.pt allows us not only to give greater visibility to our research work, but also to contribute to environmental literacy in Portugal. By joining forces with a renowned platform, we are strengthening our commitment to developing sustainable solutions and raising public awareness of the importance of the forest".

With this initiative, CEGEA and Florestas.pt are opening new doors for collaboration, promoting the sharing of knowledge that could make a difference to the future of the Portuguese forestry sector.
