The book "Ethics and Generational Diversity: (Dis)Encounters?" "is an invitation to the (re)writing by all who read it today and by future generations," begins Helena Gonçalves, coordinator of the Ethics Forum at Católica Porto Business School, in her description of the book.
Last Thursday, 23 May, at 3:30 PM, the second book of the Ethics Forum Collection by UCP Publisher was presented. This collection includes works published in the context of the Annual Study of the Ethics Forum at Católica Porto Business School.
ForHelena Gonçalves this is "a book conceived as a laboratory of thought, a space for critical reading, and a tool to promote ethical reflection in organisations."
The book presentation also featured an opening by Conceição Silva, Deputy Director for Research, Innovation, and Sustainability at Católica Porto Business School, and contributions from Manuela Silva, former Ethics Ombudsperson at EDP, and the the book's coordinators, Helena Gil da Costa, Assistant Professor at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and Susana Magalhães, Head of Unit for Responsible Conduct in Research unit at i3S.
"The book we are now launching aims to extend the debate on Ethics and Generational Diversity, so that together we can reflect and deepen our knowledge," concluded Helena Gonçalves.
