Today, 16 October, Católica Porto Business School joins the celebration of Global Ethics Day 2024, an initiative created by the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs eleven years ago. With the emerging changes in society, promoting ethics is increasingly relevant through the actions of individuals and organisations at a global level.
At Católica Porto Business School, the Ethics Forum has prepared a series of initiatives under the theme "Thinking with and about Ethics". One of these initiatives will took place today with the webinar “Thinking with and about Ethics: Generational Diversity”. During the event, the results of the Forum's most recent study were presented, which analysed the different generational perspectives on ethics in the workplace.
To emphasise the importance of sharing knowledge, the Ethics Forum is making all the documents produced in the study "Ethics and Generational Diversity at Work: Views from four generations" openly available. Among the accessible materials are the Full Report, the Collective Book "Ethics and Generational Diversity: (Dis)Encounters?" and various testimonies on the reading of the Collective Book “Ethics and Generational Diversity: (Un)Encounters?”. We invite anyone interested to explore these documents and learn more about the work carried out by the Ethics Forum. They can be accessed via this link.
Another initiative taking place at Católica Porto Business School during Ethics Month is the Open Class of the Executive Course on Ethics, Compliance and Whistleblowing in Organisations, held as part of the launch of its fourth edition. Find out more and register here.
