Open class of the Executive Course on Ethics, Compliance and Whistleblowing in Organisations

Católica Porto Business School is pleased to invite you to the open lecture of the Executive Course on Ethics, Compliance and Whistleblowing in Organisations. The session will have the president of the Portuguese Institute of Corporate Governance (IPCG), João Moreira Rato, as guest speaker, and the course directors, Helena Gonçalves and José Ricardo Gonçalves, as moderators.

The main topic under discussion is the study "Como se comparam os Códigos de Ética/Conduta dos Associados Coletivos do IPCG com os das empresas do FTSE-100?". For João Moreira Rato, this study "can serve as a tool available to our members in the context of internal reflection with a view to improving their Codes and their current practices".

João Moreira Rato
President of the Instituto Português de Corporate Governance (IPCG)
Visiting Associate Professor at Nova School of Business and Economics and Nova IMS, teaching courses on sovereign country counselling, asset management and financial derivatives. He is also a Research Associate at the Centre for Systemic Risk at the London School of Economics.
Chairman of Banco CTT from 2019 to June 2023 and Senior Advisor at Morgan Stanley since 2015. He has also worked as an independent consultant for multinational companies.
