Global Ethics Day: webinar "Thinking with and about Ethics: Generational Diversity"

Wednesday, October 16, 2024 - 14:00

The Global Ethics Day is celebrated by organisations around the world to remember the importance of ethics. This year, the Ethics Forum at Católica Porto Business School is once again celebrating the date, marking it with a debate and sharing the results of the annual study "Ethics and Generational Diversity at Work".
The event will take place in webinar format, with free access but compulsory registration.

Date: 16 October
Time: 2 to 3 pm
Format: online, via zoom

Nowadays, work teams often bring together members of three or more generations, which brings with it a variety of approaches and expectations. However, this diversity can also give rise to age-based prejudices at both an individual and institutional level, exacerbating stereotypes and challenging ethical and compliance management.

We believe that reflecting with and on ethics and Generational Diversity using these tools - a survey, collective book and documentary - will allow work spaces to emerge that contribute to a life with more human meaning. They will allow us to think from a more normative and procedural approach - THINKING ABOUT ETHICS - and, at the same time, integrate the thickness of the situations experienced by each of those involved in that same reflective space - THINKING WITH ETHICS.
