Católica Porto Business School has signed a collaboration agreement with Associação Empresarial do Minho (AEMinho), strengthening its connection to the regional business ecosystem and creating new opportunities for cooperation in executive education, innovation and entrepreneurship.
AEMinho is a private association that acts as a driving force for innovation, resilience and productive diversity in the Minho region, promoting its visibility at both national and international levels. With an active role in enhancing and strengthening the business fabric, the association has established itself as a platform for convergence and dialogue among economic, institutional and governmental stakeholders.
This agreement aims to promote the development of joint projects in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as to strengthen the connection between the respective communities. The partnership also seeks to enhance the visibility of initiatives from both institutions.
For Católica Porto Business School, this agreement represents another step in its strategy of strengthening ties with companies and the broader economic ecosystem, contributing to education that is increasingly aligned with the real challenges faced by organisations.
The Dean of Católica Porto Business School, João Pinto, highlights that “this partnership reinforces the School’s commitment to working closely with the business community, promoting knowledge sharing and the development of solutions with a real impact on organisations and the economy”.
In turn, the President of Associação Empresarial do Minho, Ramiro Brito, states that “the Católica Porto Business School project responds effectively to a need within the business community, transforming and making knowledge available in an integrated way, aligned with the needs of our community, through a close and highly productive collaboration for both parties. AEMinho has, from the outset, been a strong advocate for improving the literacy of our entrepreneurs, which we see as essential. It is therefore both natural and expected that this partnership with Católica Porto Business School takes place, with the expectation that it will contribute to the growth and transformation of our companies.”
The collaboration between the two institutions also builds on recent joint initiatives, such as AEMinho’s role as a partner of CIGMA – a centre launched at Católica Porto Business School in January 2026, dedicated to bridging academic research and business practice. More recently, AEMinho hosted the session “Governance – The First Factor of Business Competitiveness”, an initiative promoted within the Metamorphosis Programme, developed by Business Roundtable Portugal (BRP), with the participation of PwC and Católica Porto Business School.
With this agreement, both entities reinforce their commitment to fostering a more collaborative, innovative and sustainability-oriented ecosystem for the development of companies and the region.
