The 14th edition of the Católica Porto Business School Master’s Mentoring Programme, promoted by the Career and Development Office (CDO) — an exclusive School service dedicated to students’ career development — once again provided an opportunity for mentors and mentees to strengthen their connections, this time through a sailing and teambuilding experience on the Douro River, in partnership with BBDouro.
The initiative brought together master’s students and experienced professionals (some of whom are alumni of the School) in an informal and distinctive environment designed to strengthen relationships, encourage the sharing of experiences, and deepen the dialogue built throughout the mentoring journey.
Taking place at an intermediate stage of the programme, this moment allowed mentor-mentee pairs to step outside the usual setting and strengthen their connections through an experience centred on networking, collaboration and mutual exchange, in an environment conducive to reflecting on professional challenges, career ambitions and development opportunities.
The Mentoring Programme, one of the distinctive initiatives of the Católica Porto Business School master’s experience, promotes connections between students and leading professionals, many of whom are members of the School’s alumni community. Through this close interaction, participants benefit from personalised guidance, exposure to different professional paths and a closer understanding of labour market demands.
