Católica Porto Business School hosted the Porto Global Business Week 2026 from 23 to 25 March, an initiative that brought together academics from various European institutions for three days of reflection and discussion on the key challenges shaping the global business landscape.

Organised as part of the International Management specialisation within the Master’s in Management, the event featured faculty members from institutions such as ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, HWR Berlin, Kozminski University and emlyon business school, among other partner schools.

During the three days, participants explored central themes in contemporary international management, including the impact of artificial intelligence on global marketing, the implications of geopolitical dynamics for brand strategy, and the challenges associated with leading multicultural teams. The responsible implementation of AI solutions and the role of technological innovation were also highlighted.

The sessions fostered strong interaction between students and faculty, encouraging discussion around issues such as geopolitical rivalry, sustainability and technological innovation, and their impact on reshaping the rules of international business.

According to Professor Susana Costa e Silva, coordinator of the International Management specialisation, this initiative was designed to complement students’ academic journey by providing direct exposure to diverse perspectives and to the latest thinking developed across European partner schools.

Porto Global Business Week 2026 thus stood out as a valuable opportunity for learning and knowledge exchange, reinforcing Católica Porto Business School’s commitment to internationally oriented, up-to-date education closely aligned with business realities.
