The Summit Leadership – Kilimanjaro combines academic preparation, practical training and an immersive experience in a highly demanding environment. Throughout several stages, participants develop leadership, decision-making, collaboration and resilience skills in contexts of uncertainty.

Programme Kick-off

The programme begins with an introductory session where the objectives, learning journey and key dynamics of the programme are presented. This moment allows participants to align expectations and prepare for the learning experience that follows.

Masterclasses on Leadership and Decision-Making

The academic sessions explore central themes of contemporary leadership, including leadership in contexts of uncertainty, risk management, collaborative decision-making, team dynamics and strategic resilience. Through an applied approach, participants are challenged to reflect on complex decisions and on the role of leadership in demanding environments.

Individual Preparation

Before the field experience, participants undertake a process of self-assessment and individual preparation. This stage provides an opportunity to reflect on leadership competencies, align personal expectations and ensure the necessary preparation for the practical phase of the programme.

Training in a Natural Environment

The programme includes a practical session in an outdoor environment designed to develop collaboration, communication and team decision-making skills. This experience allows participants to test individual and collective capabilities in a challenging setting, bringing learning closer to real-life situations.

Kilimanjaro Expedition

The programme culminates in an expedition to Mount Kilimanjaro, where participants apply the competencies developed throughout the learning journey. During the trekking experience, leadership, cooperation, resilience and effort management become central elements of the programme.

Debriefing and Integration of Learning

The programme concludes with a reflection and sharing session among participants, allowing them to consolidate their learning, discuss decisions made throughout the experience and integrate key insights into their professional context.
