Global Ethics Day 2023 takes place today, the 18th of October. This day was created by the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs as an annual moment to reinforce ethics through the actions of individuals and organisations.

This year, the motto of Global Ethics Day is "Ethics Empowered: using the power of ethics to build a better world". With this in mind, the Ethics Forum at Católica Porto Business School has set up several initiatives to celebrate the day.

The Ethics Forum's Annual Conference was held on Tuesday, 17th October. This time, the event was centred on "Ethics and Generational Diversity at Work", with the presentation of the results of the Forum's most recent study on the subject and speeches by Piet Naudé and Luísa Lopes. There was also a reflection and sharing of various considerations in a round table discussion moderated by Alberto de Castro and with some special guests.

Today, and because one way of strengthening ethics is to share the knowledge generated, the Ethics Forum is making the various documents produced as part of the "Ethics and Hybrid Labour" study openly available to everyone, namely the Full Report, the Collective Book and the Documentary.
