Arménio Rego, Full Professor, Director of Lead.Lab and member of the CEGE - Research Centre in Management and Economics at Católica Porto Business School, was recently distinguished by Stanford University for being among the 2% of the world's most cited scientists.

The annually published study, World's Top 2% Scientists 2024, is based on the profile of each researcher in SCOPUS, the largest database of scientific abstracts and citations. This distinction evaluates scientific impact through various indicators, such as bibliometric data, the number of citations and the h-index.

The study recognises scientists whose research has the most impact, resulting in significant contributions to their field. Arménio Rego has authored and co-authored studies in areas of knowledge such as sustainability, leadership and management (he is also Director of the Executive Courses in Social Leadership for Managers and the Intensive Leadership Course at Católica Porto Business School).

Thanks, in part, to the work of this distinguished academic, Católica Porto Business School and CEGE - Research Centre in Management and Economics remain leading entities in research and innovation.
