International ranking distinguishes researcher from Católica Porto Business School

Research.com, a platform dedicated to scientists that highlights researchers in rankings across various fields, both globally and nationally, has recognised Arménio Rego, Full Professor and Director of Lead.Lab at Católica Porto Business School.

The researcher, known for his studies in the areas of Happiness, Positive Psychology, and Management, has been highlighted in the Best Scientists Ranking in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities, being among the best in the country.

Alongside Arménio Rego, four researchers from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa have also been recognised in the Best Scientists Ranking: in the area of Biology and Biochemistry, researchers Manuela Pintado, Paula M. L. Castro, and Célia M. Manaia are mentioned; in the area of Environmental Sciences, researcher Paula M. L. Castro is highlighted again; and in the area of Microbiology, researcher Paula Teixeira is noted.

The Research.com ranking of top researchers in different fields of research is based on combined data from various sources, including OpenAlex and CrossR. The position in the ranking is based on a researcher’s D-index (discipline h-index), which includes only papers and citation metrics for a given discipline.
