Ricardo Costa, Chairman, Grupo Bernardo da Costa
Ricardo Costa is the Chairman of Grupo Bernardo da Costa, a business conglomerate with a significant presence in the Portuguese market. He is also an industry fellow, and member of the Societal Advisory Board of Católica Porto Business School. Under his leadership, the group has implemented innovative practices, notably the creation of Portugal's first Department of Happiness in 2017. He holds an International MBA from Católica Porto Business School (2013) and an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Universidade Lusíada. In addition to his role at Grupo Bernardo da Costa, Ricardo is also the Honorary Consul of Kosovo. He is also the author of the book “A Felicidade é Lucrativa” (“Happiness is profitable”), published in 2024, which explores how happy work environments can enhance productivity and business profitability.
Ricardo Morais, Professor, Católica Porto Business School
Ricardo Morais is an Assistant Professor of Management at Católica Porto Business School and Director of Idea Puzzle. He coordinates the seminar "How to Design Your PhD" at the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM) in Brussels. Holds a PhD in Strategic Management from the University of Jyväskylä. His research spans Philosophy of Science, Strategic Management, and Design Thinking. He has lectured in 109 universities across 27 countries and published extensively. Ricardo is also an entrepreneur and consultant, having co-founded multiple ventures and advised organisations such as the European Commission and Deloitte.
