PhD in Economics, with specialization in Public Economics, from the Faculty of Economics of Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Degree and Master in Economics, Faculty of Economics, University of Porto.

Has research interests in Political Economy and Public Economy.

Communications at several international conferences, namely at conferences organized by the European Economic Association, the UK Political Studies Association and the Portuguese Economic Journal, among others.

Until September 2013 she was director of the master's degree in business economics and from 2013 to 2020 she assumed the role of associate dean for the master's and faculty management programs at CPBS.

Since 2015, he has been a member of the scientific and strategic council of the Public Policy Institute.

Since 2015, he has been a member of the EDPR board of directors and since 2017 he has been a member of the audit committee and related parties of this same institution.

Since September 2020 he has been president of the fiscal council of Unilabs Portugal.
