Católica Porto Business School (CPBS) is actively engaged as an institutional Partner of the Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative (GRLI), an international, multi-sector community focused on catalysing the development of globally responsible leadership and practice. This initiative, formed in 2003 and based in Brussels, Belgium, emerged from a strategic partnership between the United Nations, the European Foundation for Management Development and AACSB International.
As an institutional partner of GRLI, Católica Porto Business School is part of a restricted group of 25 business schools across the world represented in this community.
Among other initiatives within GRLI, Católica Porto Business School partnered with other universities in Asia, Europe, and North America to launch an international program: Globally Responsible Leadership for Sustainable Transformation. This is a world-first postgraduate-level course that brings multiple perspectives from around the world on leading organisations in a sustainably transformative way. This programme is already part of the school's Executive Education offer. At the beginning of 2024, it was distinguished by the Financial Times, within the scope of the Responsible Business Education Awards, as "highly recommended".
