Católica Porto Business School joined the Expresso Podfest Porto by Toyota Portugal, which arrived in Porto on 29 May at the Porto Municipal Theatre – Rivoli, for an afternoon dedicated to live podcasts, conversation and the exchange of ideas.
Throughout the programme, participants had the opportunity to attend live recordings of several podcasts from the Expresso universe and follow conversations featuring some of today’s most relevant voices, in an event celebrating new ways of thinking, communicating and telling stories.
Among the highlights was a conversation with Pedro Duarte, Mayor of Porto and Alumni of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa – Porto Regional Centre, where he completed his Law degree at the Faculty of Law – Porto School and the International MBA at Católica Porto Business School.
The event also marked the launch of “Histórias do Porto”, Expresso’s new podcast supported by Católica Porto Business School — a natural connection for the School, which has been part of the city’s history for nearly four decades and continues to help shape stories with impact, in Porto and around the world.
Hosted by SIC journalist Carlos Rico, the podcast invites listeners to discover memories, curiosities and defining moments of the city of Porto through conversations with guests closely connected to its identity and heritage.
The first episode featured Germano Silva in a conversation dedicated to the streets of Porto, their stories and the memory of the city.
