Católica Porto Business School, in partnership with ACAP – the Portuguese Automobile Association, is launching the Advanced Programme in Automotive After-Sales Management, a specialised executive education programme designed to respond to the profound challenges transforming the automotive sector.
In a context shaped by electrification, new forms of mobility, evolving business models, increasing pressure on profitability and growing sustainability requirements, after-sales is assuming an increasingly strategic role. The programme has been designed for automotive professionals seeking to strengthen management skills and develop a strategic approach to the after-sales business.
With a practical approach aligned with business realities, the programme offers a comprehensive perspective on the automotive industry, covering areas such as finance, marketing, human resources, logistics, digital transformation, new technologies, ESG, circular economy and electrification. Its aim is to equip participants with practical tools to improve profitability, strengthen customer relationships and adapt operating models to new market demands.
According to João Pinto, Dean of Católica Porto Business School, “after-sales is now a strategic area for the sustainability and competitiveness of the automotive sector. At Católica Porto Business School, we have taken on the mission of preparing leaders for contexts of profound transformation, bridging knowledge and business practice. This partnership with ACAP clearly reflects that commitment.”
The programme starts in April 2026, is delivered in person at Católica Porto Business School and runs for seven months. It is aimed at automotive managers and after-sales and parts distribution professionals looking to update their skills and strengthen their strategic vision of the business.
With this initiative, Católica Porto Business School and ACAP further strengthen the link between executive education and the real needs of the industry, fostering leadership that is better prepared to navigate complexity and seize the opportunities of the evolving mobility ecosystem.
