Diogo Queiroz Almeida
Medical Doctor and Public Health Specialist, working at the Public Health Unit of Matosinhos. Cofounder of two businesses, Consultório de Investigação em Saúde, and Step Up MGF. He is a PhD student in Public Health at FMUP. He also holds a Master's in Industrial Engineering and Management at FEUP, two Postgraduate Certificates from CPBS (Health Management and Managing with Analytics), and the CFA Program. He coauthored research papers and book chapters. He is an invited assistant at FMUP and an invited lecturer at Instituto de Saúde Pública da Universidade do Porto.
Conceição Andrade e Silva
Full Professor at Católica Porto Business School with an MSc in Management Science and Operational Research from Warwick University and a PhD in Management Science from Aston University. Co-author of over 40 scientific articles and four book chapters. Principal investigator for projects funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology and involved in consultancy with Oxera. Associate Editor of the Journal of Productivity Analysis and Associate Dean for Research Innovation and Sustainability since December 2023.
Hugo Monteiro
Public Health specialist at the Local Health Unit Gaia Espinho and the Executive Board of the SNS. PhD candidate in Health Data Science at FMUP, with a Master's in Public Health and a Postgraduate in Health Management. Author and co-author of scientific articles and collaborator in digital transformation projects at the Ministry of Health and international health institutions. Trainer in MS Power BI and digital tools, guest lecturer at the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto.
João Nuno Gonçalves
Invited Assistant Professor in Data Science at Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Researcher at CEGE (Research Centre in Management and Economics). PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Minho, focusing on business analytics models for supply chain management. Coordinator of the BSc in Applied Data Science and board member of the Institute of Computing and Data Science at UCP. Recognised with awards in Operations Research and Supply Chain Management, including the Logistics Excellence Award Academy 2022.
