André Lajoso, Católica Porto Business School's Management student, received a prestigious honourable mention at the Luiz Chaves de Almeida Award, promoted by the Portuguese Association of Accounting Technicians. The distinction was awarded in February for his work entitled "A Importância da escolha do Normativo Contabilístico nas Microentidades".

Luiz Chaves de Almeida Award is considered a reference in the national accounting sector, aiming to encourage and recognise academic excellence and promote research and knowledge in the accounting field. 

Most of the award winners in this competition are master's theses, which makes André Lajoso's achievement even more remarkable, as he is still an undergraduate student.

This award is proof of Católica Porto Business School's academic excellence and celebrates the student's hard work and dedication to the institution.
