Held as part of the second edition of the Fashion Management Postgraduate Programme at Católica Porto Business School (CPBS), the masterclass was entitled "Shaping successful digital strategies with Metyis". The director of Metyis Portugal, Ricardo Teixeira, was one of the five members present from the multinational technology company that is Hugo Boss' technology partner.
The event was opened by one of the postgraduate programme's directors, Nuno Malheiro. "This session with the Metyis team is a fantastic example of the synergy between the executive and the academic that we endeavour to promote," he said. For him, "learning from such disruptive, innovative and dynamic companies adds incalculable value to our students' career".
Metyis develops big data, digital commerce and marketing solutions in more than 15 countries. With a presence in Portugal for several years, in June this year the company opened the Metyis Campus, which includes the Hugo Boss Digital Campus, specialising in e-commerce, advanced business analysis, technology and data.
The Fashion Management Postgraduate Programme is the only one in Portugal that combines the areas of Management and Fashion, always bridging the gap with the field. "The proximity between students and professionals or companies of excellence in the fashion field from whom they can learn through real examples is one of our main objectives," concluded Nuno Malheiro.
Applications for the third edition of the Fashion Management Postgraduate Programme, which will begin in February 2024, are now open. Those interested can find out more information here.
