Susana Costa e Silva is an alumna of Católica and, in addition to being co-director of the new PhD in Management, she is also director of the Master in Management at Católica Porto Business School, which is currently ranked by the Financial Times. Born in Porto, she had a happy childhood and says she always had a great desire to learn. She has a PhD in Marketing from University College Dublin and has devoted herself deeply to research in this area: "Marketing is about understanding the market, understanding what it values and being able to bring a product or service to it that makes sense".
