Católica Porto Business School expresses its profound sorrow at the passing of Pedro Ferraz Correia dos Reis, Alumnus and former faculty member of Católica Porto Business School and of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, whose academic and professional journey left an indelible mark on our School and on the academic and business communities around it.

Pedro Ferraz Correia dos Reis graduated in Management from Católica Porto Business School and later completed a Master’s degree in Finance. During his undergraduate studies, he served as President of the Students’ Association and, later, as President of Católica Porto Business Alumni between 2010 and 2015.

Throughout his professional career, he held positions of high responsibility, notably at Banco BPI and, more recently, as a board member of BCI – Banco Comercial e de Investimentos, in Mozambique, where he was widely recognised for his strategic vision, strong sense of responsibility and exemplary dedication. Between 1998 and 2007, he was also a professor at Católica Porto Business School, where he stood out for his intellectual rigour, generosity in sharing knowledge and commitment to a demanding, ethical and impact-oriented education.

His contribution to the development and institutional strengthening of the organisations he served was consistently guided by high standards of ethics, professionalism and rigour values fully aligned with the principles of Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Católica Porto Business School remembers Pedro Ferraz Correia dos Reis as a highly respected member of its academic community, whose legacy will endure through the impact he had on students, colleagues and the institutions with which he collaborated.
