On 16th April, more than 200 parents and high school students filled the Carvalho Guerra Auditorium for the 1st Open Day of Católica Porto Business School. The session started at 6:30 p.m. and was also transmitted via Zoom. Under the same conditions, the 2nd Open Day will also occur on 21st May.
The event was opened by Helena Correia, Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education, who presented the Católica Porto Business School's strategic axes and positioning for the future. In addition, she presented the degrees in economics and management and the scholarships the School provides to students.
Alexandra Leitão, Associate Dean for Global Education, spoke about Católica Porto Business School's strong commitment to the internationalisation of its students and the School itself. Católica Porto Business School recognises the growing value that the job market attributes to an international curriculum. Therefore, one of the School's strategic axes is to reinforce the global experience of its students.
The presentation of the Double Degree in Law and Management program was the responsibility of Coordinator Luísa Anacoreta, who mentioned the transversal and unique skills that the program confers on its graduates.
Marta Sofia Campos, representing the Academic Services of Católica Porto Business School, clarified the application process and all the doubts accompanying it, including the necessary documents and deadlines.
The Career and Development Office was represented by Hugo Araújo, who explained the mission and commitment of this service to the personal and professional development of Católica Porto Business School students and their integration into the job market.
Finally, there was also the opportunity to hear the testimony of those who know the School best: the students. Lara Covas, Inês Vale and Paulo Martinez were the students who shared their experience with the degrees in management, economics and the double degree in law and management, respectively. It was also possible to count on the presence via Zoom of two alumni, Gustavo Ribas and Nuno Agarez, who spoke about their journey at Católica Porto Business School and their integration and experience in the professional world.
In the end, those present also had the opportunity to participate in the Universidade Católica in Porto campus tour.
