The Master in Management from Católica Porto Business School has been included in the prestigious global Financial Times Masters in Management 2025 ranking. This recognition strengthens the school’s international standing, now with two master's programmes featured in FT rankings, following the inclusion of the Master in Finance in the Financial Times Masters in Finance 2025.

Among the 100 programmes listed worldwide, Católica Porto Business School’s master's was one of three newcomers this year. “Being included in the Financial Times ranking is a recognition of the academic rigour and strong corporate connections that define Católica Porto Business School. It is also a sign of confidence in the impact our graduates are having in their careers, both in Portugal and globally,” says João Pinto, Dean of Católica Porto Business School.

Among the various indicators assessed, the Master in Management at Católica Porto Business School stands out in “Career Progress”, ranking 8th globally, and in “Salary percentage increase”, where it achieved 5th place, with an average salary increase of 75% after completing the programme – the best result among Portuguese schools. Additionally, the programme achieved strong results in “Value for Money”, highlighting the relationship between the quality of education, associated costs, and the return obtained by graduates.

“This result reflects the quality of the work carried out by our entire academic community and the commitment of our students and alumni. It is also a clear sign of the international relevance of our Management education, which now stands alongside the best schools in the world,” emphasises Susana Costa e Silva, Director of the Master in Management at Católica Porto Business School.

Paulo Alves, Vice Dean of the school, adds: “This international recognition comes in a particularly special year: Católica Porto Business School now has two master's programmes listed in FT rankings, reinforcing our commitment to offering programmes of academic excellence and practical relevance.”

In addition to Católica Porto Business School, Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics is also included in this ranking, meaning that Universidade Católica Portuguesa is represented with management master's programmes from both of its business schools.

Portugal consolidates its position in the European landscape of Management education, being the 6th most represented country in the Top 100, behind only larger nations such as France, Germany, India, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

With this achievement, Católica Porto Business School reinforces its ambition to continue developing global leaders and contributing to the international projection of Portuguese higher education.
