The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been driving rapid changes in society, which are not easily controlled. Are we already in a new "Brave New World"? As AI redefines the boundaries of innovation, it is imperative to consider its ethical, legal, and social implications.

The third online conference "Artificial Intelligence: Crossed Perspectives on Ethics, Law, and Technology", organised by the Ethics Forum of Católica Porto Business School, in partnership with the School of Biotechnology of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), the Faculty of Law - Porto School of UCP, and the School of Education and Psychology of UCP, will take place on 17 March, from 10:30 to 12:30.
The keynote speakers at the conference will be Pedro Freitas (lecturer and member of the Research Group on Law and Artificial Intelligence at Universidade Católica Portuguesa), Pedro Miguel Rodrigues (lecturer and researcher at the School of Biotechnology of UCP), and Mariana Barbosa (lecturer and researcher at the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH) of UCP).
Participation in this conference is free of charge but requires prior registration, and it is part of the third edition of the Executive Course Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer.
