Tuesday, July 28, 2026 - 10:20

Universidade Católica Portuguesa is joining Happiness Camp 2026, Europe's largest conference dedicated to Human Sustainability and the Future of Work, taking place on 24 September at the Alfândega do Porto.

At a time marked by the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, digital transformation and the redefinition of working models and leadership, this partnership reinforces Universidade Católica Portuguesa's commitment to promoting critical thinking, innovation and reflection on the challenges shaping the future of people and organisations.

More than just a conference, Happiness Camp brings together leaders responsible for talent, organisational culture and performance to explore one of the key challenges facing organisations today: how to build high-performing companies without compromising human sustainability. Through case studies, executive discussions and the sharing of practical methodologies and real-world experiences, the event encourages debate on strategies and solutions that can be applied to today's workplace challenges.

The 2026 edition will bring together some of the most influential international voices in the fields of artificial intelligence, human behaviour, digital health, employer branding, organisational culture and leadership. Confirmed speakers include João Pinto, Dean and Professor of Finance at Católica Porto Business School and Co-Leader of INSURE.Hub; Reha Jhunjhunwala (WHOOP); Adam Hickman (The Walt Disney Company); Camille Phillips (Meta); Miriah Steiger (TikTok); and Beena Ammanath (Deloitte AI Institute).

Throughout the day, participants will explore topics including responsible artificial intelligence, biometrics, leadership, the future of work, talent attraction and development, organisational wellbeing, and the impact of technology on people and organisations.
