Católica Porto Business School, through CEGEA (Centre for Studies in Management and Applied Economics), was one of the schools selected by ACP (Associação Comercial do Porto/Porto Commercial Association) to conduct a study on the need for reform of the Portuguese political system.
The study will be coordinated by Ana Lourenço, Associate Dean for Faculty, Professor at Católica Porto Business School, and Researcher at CEGE (Research Centre in Management and Economics). It will involve the collaboration of the Faculty of Law, the Institute of Political Studies, and the Centre for Studies and Opinion Polls at UCP - Universidade Católica Portuguesa / Catholic University of Portugal.
This study has been featured in several press and media outlets and will have a monitoring committee consisting of Nuno Botelho, President of ACP, Pedro Passos Coelho, former Prime Minister of Portugal, and Sérgio Sousa Pinto, former member of the Socialist Party. The study is expected to be completed within 12 months.
