"Following on from what is already happening in France and Germany, the Ethics Forum's discussion session considered that lobbying should be regulated, thus allowing us to ‘know what we are counting on’, creating a basis for behavioural training in terms of what is permitted and drawing a line between lawful interest representation and influence peddling, which, as we know, is a crime punishable by a prison sentence of 1 to 5 years."
