Católica Porto Business School, in collaboration with the Portuguese Business Association (AEP) and the Portuguese Commerce and Services Confederation (CCP), has launched a set of training programmes aimed at the digital transformation and leadership of business and social economy organisations.
“This is an important project, developed as part of the Líder Mais Digital Programme, coordinated by the Instituto do Emprego e Formação Profissional (IEFP) and funded by the PRR (Recovery and Resilience Plan),” said Carlos Vieira, executive director for Executive Education at Católica Porto Business School. The courses will have a duration of 90 hours and aim, through a digital transformation training and action programme, to enhance digital skills and qualifications.
Aimed at managers, leaders, and technical staff, “the goal is to equip them for excellence in strategic and operational decision-making and support the concrete development of a specific digitalisation plan within their organisation,” emphasised Carlos Vieira. It is, therefore, a concerted effort by the School and the two envolved entities to modernise the organisational framework, particularly at the level of decision-makers.
Both programmes (in the North with AEP and in the Centre with CCP) are free of charge and offer a diploma from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. “Given the scale of the project, we are working to create sector-specific groups, allowing for homogeneity and the sharing of experiences and specific realities,” added Carlos Vieira.
