This Tuesday, Católica Porto Business School opened its doors to secondary school students and their families for another edition of the Open Day, an event dedicated to presenting the Undergraduate Programmes in Economics, Management, and the Double Degree in Law and Management, as well as clarifying the application process.
The session featured Helena Correia, associate dean for Undergraduate Education, who introduced the School’s strategic vision and the academic opportunities available, including scholarship and financial support programmes. Raquel Correia, from the Global Education Office, highlighted the wide range of international mobility programmes, reinforcing the School’s commitment to preparing students for a global society.
Luísa Anacoreta, Coordinator of the Double Degree in Law and Management, presented this innovative programme, which combines skills from both areas to train highly qualified professionals. Meanwhile, Marta Sofia Campos, from the Academic Services, provided detailed explanations about the application process, including deadlines and required documentation.
The event also included the participation of Joana Marques Gomes, from the Career and Development Office, who addressed the importance of career support and networking in preparing students for the job market.
One of the most anticipated moments was hearing from current students. Gonçalo Marques, a former Management student and founder of Shoevenir, a sustainable footwear brand, shared his experience and how Católica Porto Business School played a key role in his entrepreneurial journey. Mariana Santos, a second-year Management student, spoke about her daily life at the School and the academic and professional opportunities she has explored.
The session concluded with a campus tour, allowing participants to get a closer look at the facilities and academic environment of Universidade Católica in Porto.
