The second NorthernSeam - Northern Seminar Day in Economics will occur next Friday, July 14th, at the Faculdade de Economia da Universidade do Porto. This event is organised by CEGE (Centre for Studies in Management and Economics of the Católica Porto Business School of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa), CEF.UP ( Centro de Economia e Finanças da Faculdade de Economia da Universidade do Porto) and NIPE (Núcleo de Investigação em Políticas Económicas da Escola de Economia e Gestão da Universidade do Minho). It aims to reinforce ties and foster cooperation between researchers from the three institutions.

In this second edition, NorthernSeam has the participation of six researchers from Católica Porto Business School: Ana Lourenço (in the Policy & Regulation session), Arménio Rego (in the Management session), Bernardo Marques (in the Banking & Markets session), João Moreira Campos (in the Portuguese Economy session), João Pinto (in the Banking & Markets session) and Ricardo Ribeiro (in the Microeconomics session).

NorthernSeam provides an informal platform for exchanging and disseminating research in Economics, Management, and Finance. Through presentations and discussions on relevant topics, the event promotes knowledge sharing and fosters the development of joint projects between the participating schools.
