On June 6th, the final-year students of the Católica Porto Business School's undergraduate degrees performed their final project presentations. This moment involved the participation of 21 representatives of significant national and multinational companies as external juries.

The event closed a learning cycle dedicated to developing three skills dimensions - thinking, communicating and acting - and represented a unique opportunity for students to pitch their ideas and highlight the skills learnt throughout this academic journey.

With a significant number of 136 students involved in the three different options - Business Plan, Economics and Management, and Internship - the presentations showed the variety and excellence of the projects developed by these future management and economics professionals.

The presence of companies as the event's panel of juries is further proof of the Católica Porto Business School's close connection with the business world, where leading companies, from multinationals to emerging startups or established companies, accepted the invitation to evaluate the students' ideas and provide them with valuable feedback. The relationship between the students and the industry representatives allowed for an exchange of experiences extremely relevant, in which the students obtained personalised insights and guidelines for their academic and professional future. The companies were BA Glass, Experis, Insignya, Klockner Pentaplast, KPMG, Lusilectra, MDS Group, Meadow Group, Mice, NOS, Oporto British School, Paralab, Pessoa e Sistemas, PwC, Kelly Services, Sonae MC, Triple A, Yes Crédito and Xplora.

"This partnership between our business school and the business sector is fundamental for the training of our students, providing them with an enriching experience with connection to practice and bringing them closer to the job market", said Rui Sousa, director of Católica Porto Business School.

Furthermore, it is worth pointing out that some of these representatives are Católica Porto Business School Alumni, which is also a highly successful indicator of the business school's reputation in the business sector.
