The men's 11-a-side football team of AECPBS participated in the Final Stages of the National University Football Championship, which was organised by Federação Académica do Desporto Universitário. The competition occurred between 22 and 26 April in the city of Aveiro. 

During the Group Stage, the AECPBS team was part of Group A, along with AEIST (Students' Association of the Instituto Superior Técnico), the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra, and AAFP (Fernando Pessoa Academic Association). 

The home team was eliminated in the Group Stage with one draw and two losses. The final of the National University Football Championship was broadcast live on channel 11, with AEIST (Students' Association of the Instituto Superior Técnico) emerging as the national university champion. 

The Católica Porto Business School supports university sports and sponsored the kit used by AECPBS in the competition.
