Leaders of Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Católica Porto Business School honoured by the Ilídio Pinho Foundation

The President of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Isabel Capeloa Gil, the Pro-Rector, Isabel Braga da Cruz, the Dean of the Católica Porto Business School, João Pinto, and the Professor of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Universidade Católica, Joaquim Azevedo, were honoured by the Ilídio Pinho Foundation with the "Silver Pin" on the 25th anniversary of this institution.

At a ceremony in Porto, presided over by the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, who also received the award, numerous other personalities were also honoured, including José Tolentino Mendonça, architect António Siza Vieira and General Ramalho Eanes, the President of the Portuguese Parliament, José Pedro Aguiar-Branco, the mayors of Porto, Lisbon and Vale de Cambra, among others.

Ilídio Pinho, founder of the Foundation, who recently received an Honorary Doctorate from the Universidade Católica, was decorated by Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa with the Grand Cross of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator.
