Universidade Católica Portuguesa ranks among the top three universities in Portugal in terms of International Students and International Diversity and among the top four in terms of International Faculty, according to the latest edition of the renowned QS World University Rankings.
In addition to its solid internationalisation, Católica also stands out in terms of employability, ranking in the top 4 nationally in the Employer Reputation and Employment Outcomes parameters, which assess the recognition and impact of graduates in the labour market.
Globally, the Universidade Católica also achieved a significant performance, rising from the 901-950 bracket to the 781-790 bracket. As such, it was the Portuguese university with the greatest evolution compared to the previous year's ranking, consolidating its presence among the best universities worldwide.
In its 22nd annual edition, the QS World University Rankings assesses more than 1,500 universities from 105 higher education systems around the world and incorporates the opinions of more than 151,000 academics and 100,000 employers.
It analyses the performance of universities globally, based on six main indicators, in order to reflect the quality of teaching and research, the degree of internationalisation and their global attractiveness: academic reputation, reputation among employers, teacher-student ratio, citations per teacher, percentage of international teachers and percentage of international students.
