Jorge Ribeiro da Silva, an alumnus of the Management Degree and the Auditing and Tax Master's Degree, won the Gastambide Fernandes award, promoted by the Portuguese Institute of Statutory Auditors (Ordem dos Revisores Oficiais de Contas).

This award is an honorific distinction that rewards, every two years, original technical-scientific Portuguese works in the scope of International Accounting and Auditing which stand out for their innovative character and practical applicability.

The student of CPBS won this award with his final work for the Master in Auditing and Taxation - "Digital transformation in the reporting of financial information". The paper was carried out under Professor Luísa Anacoreta Correia's guidance and answered the research question: "What new perspectives are opening up in the audit area with the entry into force of European financial reporting in electronic format?".
