Católica Porto Business School strengthens ties with Mozambique through training programme for Vista Bank

Católica Porto Business School ran an in-company programme for Vista Bank in Mozambique, entitled "Training in Strategic Human Resources Management – Talent and Career Development"

The training was led by José Nuno Ferreira da Costa, a professor at the School and Director of Human Resources at Teixeira Duarte, who equipped Vista Bank's Human Resources team with essential tools for managing the bank's talent. The project continued with a second initiative dedicated to People Analytics – Human Resources Management Ratios and Indicators.

For Cosme Almeida, director of Abroad Programmes at Católica Porto Business School, the initiative strengthens ties that go far beyond the classroom:

"The Portuguese language unites, even across oceans and continents, teachers and staff in teaching and mutual learning projects that transcend borders, create value for both sides and strengthen economic diplomacy and ties that we see growing, always with particular pleasure".

Francisco Mutondo, Manager of Training and Career Development Department at Vista Bank, highlights the direct impact of this experience:

“The learning experience at Católica Porto Business School has strengthened Vista Bank Mozambique’s mission to transform our potential into performance, and our vision into impact to better serve our employees.”

The connection to Portuguese-speaking countries is extremely important for Católica Porto Business School, resulting in solid partnerships and customised programmes that align professional training with business strategy.
