"Associação Empresarial de Portugal has been a long-standing partner of ours and we were therefore delighted to accept the invitation to sponsor an event that is already part of the national golf scene", explained the dean of Católica Porto Business School, João Pinto.
The AEP Golf Business Cup is a tournament organised by Associação Empresarial de Portugal (AEP), in collaboration with the Fundação AEP, and is part of a series of activities that seek to encourage greater interaction between the national business community. Over the six editions already organised, more than 300 players have taken part in the initiative, representing 145 companies.
As such, "it makes perfect sense for Católica Porto Business School to be present at an event of this nature, demonstrating that we are a school that is on the side of portuguese companies and that takes their needs into account, whether in terms of training or applied research", emphasised João Pinto.
Católica Porto Business School was also represented at the tournament by two former students, Ana Ribeiro and Hugo Moreira, who were present at all the events held - Amarante Golf, Royal Óbidos, Oporto Golf Club and Estela Golf Club.
The fifth and final event of the AEP Golf Business Cup, which included international golfers, took place on 5 October in Ponte de Lima.
