Católica Porto Business School announced on Friday that it is now accepting applications for its new Executive Programme in AI Mastery for Business Leaders, developed in collaboration with the AI Research Centre at Woxsen University in India. This will be the first programme in Portugal to combine artificial intelligence with sustainability, through a hybrid model that blends strategic training with practical application.

The course, designed for alumni and organisational leaders, promises an innovative approach. “Participants will have direct contact with advanced tools such as Power BI, ChatGPT, Tableau, AutoML and Microsoft Copilot, and will work on real-world challenges in health, finance and the energy transition,” explains João Pinto, Dean of Católica Porto Business School. The curriculum features face-to-face and immersive sessions in Portugal and India, visits to innovation hubs such as CEiiA and Blend360, and international networking opportunities with leading experts.

For João Pinto, “this international collaboration with Woxsen University reflects the spirit of transformative leadership that characterises Católica Porto Business School. We train professionals who can combine ethics, technology and positive impact, and who are prepared to respond to the challenges of a rapidly evolving society.”

The programme runs from November to January, alternating between in-person weeks and online modules. The first week takes place in Hyderabad (India), followed by online sessions and culminating in a practical immersion at Católica Porto Business School in Porto. Participants will also have the chance to attend round tables and explore real AI applications across multiple sectors.

“This programme is a unique opportunity to apply artificial intelligence responsibly and sustainably within strategic management and leadership processes,” emphasises Cosme Almeida, Director of Abroad Programmes at Católica Porto Business School.
