Católica Porto Business School International Study Week - A Shared Learning Experience

From April 17th to 21st, Católica Porto Business School (CPBS) held another edition of International Student Week. This initiative provides a multicultural experience to the students of the Master in Management and Marketing through a programme that includes teambuilding activities, workshops, group work, a learning tour, and a cultural context visit.

It results from a partnership between CPBS, Luiss Business School (Italy) and Tilburg University (Netherlands). CPBS students went to each of these partners, and CPBS welcomed students from each institution and the School's Master in Marketing.

CPBS developed the programme in partnership with Sogrape, a lifelong partner of the school and one of the largest wine producers in the Iberian Peninsula. Thus, throughout the project, students from all three business schools could explore the wine value chain through masterclasses, visiting the Douro Valley, "Caves Ferreira" wine cellars, and blind wine tasting. An experience that allowed them to broaden their knowledge in this relevant industry, from its past to its future challenges.

Last year's edition participants shared their experience, highlighting that this global experience is essential to develop soft skills "such as teamwork, time management, communication and presentation".

According to Joana César Machado, Associate Dean for Global Education, the "International Study Week was an enriching and unforgettable experience for all parts: teachers, students and participating companies", opening space for curiosity and transformation.
