Católica Porto Business School and SEAL Group united in the development of companies and executives

Católica Porto Business School and Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto have formalised a collaboration protocol with SEAL Group to strengthen ties between the institutions. 

João Pinto, Dean of Católica Porto Business School, Isabel Braga da Cruz, Pro-Rector of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and Sérgio Almeida, Founder and CEO of SEAL Group, attended the signing ceremony. This agreement reflects a joint commitment to fostering innovative initiatives to develop the skills of executives and companies in line with the organisations' missions, with a special focus on human capital and sustainability. 

SEAL is now part of the Corporate Club of Católica Porto Business School, which guarantees an active role in a platform of excellence dedicated to knowledge transfer, innovation and employability. Among the objectives outlined in the protocol are the promotion of advanced training programmes for companies and executives, support for organisations, the development of research projects and internationalisation. In addition, the protocol provides for concrete actions within the scope of the Global Healthcare Forum, reinforcing the institutions' positioning in the healthcare sector and their presence at Insure.Hub is an initiative in the area of regeneration and sustainability. 

For Isabel Braga da Cruz, Pro-Rector of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, this protocol involves "promoting initiatives relating to internships, support for students, training programmes, job offers, scholarships and prizes, research projects and other intervention projects that can contribute to the activity of each entity, to be triggered at the initiative of the Universidade Católica and each of the Faculties active in Porto or by the Seal Group".

Sérgio Almeida, founder of SEAL Group and a participant in various Universidade Católica Portuguesa initiatives in Porto, emphasised the importance of this partnership:
"We are building a solid foundation based on common values and purposes for creating valuable projects that will benefit not only our organisations but society as a whole".

With this protocol, the organisations commit to deepening the synergies between the academic and business sectors, exploring new opportunities for collaboration, and developing future projects.
